Eyebrow Tattooing - what you need to know

Eyebrow tattooing gives you long lasting quality results, shaping your face and making your features pop. But there are some facts you need to know before taking the leap into the chair. 

Why should you get Eyebrow Tattooing? 

If you find that your brows don’t have a lot of shape or are quite thin with not much hair then this treatment is for you. It’s always best to book in for a consultation to discuss your specific needs with our professional, you need to be prepared and so does she. Say goodbye to regular tints and laminations, you’ll need a tidy up here and there but rarely!

How long does it last?

Sure it’s a tattoo and it can last up to 3 years but we recommend getting a refresh every 12 months to ensure your brows are at their best 24/7. The beauty industry uses cosmetic-grade iron oxides and lakes are used instead of traditional tattoo ink as they offer a wide range of pigments and can fade over time. 

Is there much aftercare?

It’s important not to scratch or pick at your tattoo when the healing process begin as this will remove pigment, you can lightly tap the area with your finger if it begins to itch but not picking! You cannot have any facials, botox or chemical treatments on or around the area that has been treated, be sure to always remind your clinic that you’ve had the tattooing done. 

How long does it take?

The treatment can take anywhere from one hour to 2.5 hours.  We always want to spend as much time as possible on each client perfecting their look. Block out your morning or afternoon to be prepared for overtime in your appointment.
