Laser Genesis and Green Genesis
We’re going to take a look at two of our most effective and popular treatments in clinic, Laser Genesis and Green Genesis. These two therapies can work wonders on your skin and target your concerns, quickly and efficiently. Two different treatments operating out of the one machine, two birds….one stone.
Let’s first break down Laser Genesis:
It is completely non-invasive, with no downtime and works by delivering micro pulses of laser energy into the skin focusing on the signs of ageing and reducing those signs. It basically wakes up the body’s natural stimulation of collagen and gives that a nice boost to treat fine lines. More intense wrinkles, ageing spots, redness, rosacea, uneven skin tone, acne scarring and enlarged pores are also tackled with Laser Genesis.
Although you will feel a gentle warming of the skin, it is not painful, and some clients feel it to be relaxing and calming! Post-treatment you may experience slight redness and swelling, but nothing extreme or too uncomfortable. Pop in and see us on your lunch break as we’ll have you out the door within 40 minutes, the perfect lunchtime procedure.
Ideally, this treatment will work on all ages and all skin tones. Target the face, neck, and chest, anywhere that you can see sun damage, wrinkles, and other signs of premature ageing. Some even opt for their hands and shoulders, you do you boo.
The treatment is $299 per session, for optimum results we highly recommend 6 sessions approximately 2 weeks apart. The best part is that you will continue to see results months after you’ve had this treatment. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.
Next, let’s dive into Green Genesis:
Green Genesis uses the same technology as Laser Genesis but applies a different laser to treat specific dark spots and redness on the skin. This laser works on both Haemoglobin and Melanin (reds and browns). It will target redness caused by inflammation, problematic pigment, and other skin discolouration.
It also works on Telangiectasia, which are small, widened blood vessels on the skin. Without harming the surface of the skin, this laser works with a specific wavelength to reduce unwanted discolouration. Again, there is absolutely no downtime and very little discomfort, perfect for those that are dipping their toes into more advanced clinical treatments.
As we age or the more and more, we have been exposed to the elements our skin changes colour, sometimes more prominent in certain areas, or we begin to see redness on some parts of the skin. Green Genesis is the most pristine treatment for these issues. Little disclaimer though: it is suitable for all skin types but cannot be used on those who are pregnant and/or breastfeeding or if you use Roaccutane.
Again, we recommend around 6 treatments at 2 weeks apart to see results. Maintenance is key for all laser treatments – so be sure to book in for upkeep appointments.
