WHAT IS COSMELAN?

The number of required Cosmelan treatment sessions depends on the patient and how severe the Melasma is. Generally, visiting the clinic once for the treatment should be enough if you are diligent with your at-home skincare regime.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
Results will be visible from days 10-14 but will be most apparent at one month with improvement to overall texture and colour of your skin. Your skin will continue to improve with your home care over the next 6 months.
One of our therapists will apply the ‘Cosmelan 1’ intensive depigmentation mask that is left on the skin for between 8-12 hours depending on your skin type.
Your treatment will continue with your at-home maintenance regime where the ‘Cosmelan 2’ is applied daily to enhance the effects of phase one and to assist in the skin’s continued reduction of melanin synthesis.
