We’re expanding our family with some of the finest! Joining our Kirra clinic and ready to transform your skin, Sheoni and Laura are highly experienced and passionate. Kind, warm and approachable, we are proud to be extending the family with more strong and inspiring women. We caught up with the girls so that you could get to know them a bit more!
LAURA
Introduce yourself and your role within GC Skin!
Hi, I’m Laura! I’ve just started my new job at GC Skin Boutique. I’m a Dermal Skin Therapist studying for my RN nursing degree to specialize in injectables. I’m passionate about all things related to skincare and love results-driven treatments! I specifically love PEELS!
What’s your background in skin and how long have you been in the industry?
I have been in the skincare industry for a few years now, in both Australia and Canada. I’m continually learning and growing. My experience has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of various skin issues and treatments in different climates.
What’s your goals for the new year?
My goals for the new year include excelling in my RN nursing degree and expanding my expertise in injectables. I’m also looking forward to furthering my knowledge of skincare and helping my clients achieve their best skin yet.
What’s been the highlight of your career so far?
The highlight of my career so far has been witnessing the transformation in my clients’ skin. It’s incredibly rewarding to see them regain confidence and feel better about themselves.
What’s your favourite treatment and/or ingredient and why?
My favourite treatment and ingredient are peels and lactic acid. I love the way they can rejuvenate the skin and improve its’ texture and tone, leaving clients with a fresh and glowing complexion.
What’s been the most valuable thing you’ve learnt since entering into the aesthetic industry?
The most valuable thing I’ve learned in the aesthetic industry is that every client is unique, and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to skincare. Customization is key to achieving the best results.
What treatments do you see becoming popular by the end of this year?
I see treatments like EmSculpt gaining popularity, especially in beachside areas like the Gold Coast. People are increasingly interested in non-invasive body sculpting procedures.
What is one piece of skin advice you wish all of your clients to follow?
One piece of advice I wish all of my clients would follow is to wear SPF every day. Protecting your skin from the sun’s harmful rays is essential for maintaining healthy, youthful-looking skin.

Introduce yourself and your role within GC Skin!
Hi I’m Sheoni! My role at GC Skin is a Cosmetic Nurse/Injector and I am based in the Kirra Clinic.
What’s your background in nursing and how long have you been in the industry?
My background in nursing is peri-operative and endoscopy, but I have been in the cosmetic injectable industry for 2.5 years.
What’s been the highlight of your career so far?
The highlight of my career is definitely seeing clients glow after their treatment. Helping them overcome areas that they’re self conscious about and see them shine with confidence in their appearance!
What’s your top 2 anti-ageing treatments or ingredients and why?
Top 2 treatments would be Profhilo and anti-wrinkle.
What are your goals for the new year?
My goal for the new year is to continue changing the lives of my clients, one treatment at a time here on the Gold Coast!
What has been the most valuable thing you’ve learned since entering into aesthetics?
The most valuable thing I’ve learned since entering into aesthetics is to listen to your clients. We all have individual and unique goals, and it’s so important to listen to each clients’ perspective and expectations.
What is your approach to cosmetic injectables?
My approach to injectables is that less is best, I love to enhance my clients natural beauty.
What treatment do you see becoming popular by the end of this year?
The treatment I see becoming popular by the end of 2024 is absolutely bioremodulating! Everyone can benefit from this treatment to help improve their skin quality, texture and radiance.
What is a piece of advice you wish all your clients to follow whether that’s for injectables or another treatment?
My piece of advice would be to schedule your treatments in advance – the months go by so quickly and everyone is getting busy so it’s easy to lose track! Schedule them after your treatment so you know you’re organised!
