Bio-remodelling is not the same as facial fillers but can be done in conjunction with them. Although both utilise Hyaluronic Acid, Bio-remodelling doesn’t add volume to the area being treated due to the actual composition of Hyaluronic Acid being used. Fillers use chemically cross-linked HA that gives it its’ gel like consistency, Bio-remodelling on the other hand uses non cross-linked HA.

What are the side effects after having Bio-remodelling injections?

You may find a small amount of swelling and redness in the injection are or small lumps may form at the site, but this will resolve over 24-48 hours. That goes for any light bruising that may follow, it will clear in a couple of days. Minimally invasive and practically no down time!

How does the procedure work?

We will apply numbing cream to the area being treated about 30-40 minutes prior to administrating the injections. We then clean the area with a antiseptic cream to ensure a safe application followed by selecting and marking the areas of treatment. Local anaesthetic is injected to areas that will be treated with the non-linked Hyaluronic Acid. Finally, the Bio-remodelling injections are injected!
